Nelson Park offer high quality, person centred support services for adults with a diverse range of learning disabilities, mental and medical health problems. We provide consistently high levels of professional care in order that those we support can live as normally as possible, where their individuality independence and dignity are respected and upheld. We are able to offer specialist services to adults with complex medical needs including epilepsy, challenging behaviour and autistic spectrum disorders.
Challenging Behaviour
It is well known that challenging behaviour can present itself in several different forms. Here at Nelson Park we pride ourselves on patiently investigating the possible causes of this behaviour and alleviating some of the problems which may be the cause. We work closely with outside agencies to assist each client in reaching their full potential and overcoming some or all of their problems.
